Ringette Mini-Camp Come-Try-It

The Fort McMurray Ringette Association invites you to our August 19 & 20 Mini-Camp. This 2 day tune up just in time for the season will not only give a jump start on the season but will offer some of the new ringette skill development techniques on the camp circuits.

The 2 day camp takes place from 9:00-3:30 at MacDonald Island for the cost of $75. Please pass the word around and keep tuned for sign-up and detailed information on this page in the next week.

Come-Try-It
After our camp we are hosting a Come-Try-It and Exibition game in September to help grow our community sport. This fun activity is open to kids 5 years old and up for both experienced skaters or non-skaters alike, everyone is welcome. Anyone that brings a new to Ringette guest to Come-Try-It will get a movie pass and if your guest ends up registering this season you will have your name
entered for your choice of a new Ringjet or a DS!!

2010-11 Raffle

The longer processing time for our raffle application has pushed this fundraiser to the 2010-2011 season. For the upcoming season everyone will be expected to fulfill one volunteer committment as well as sell the raffle tickets. This year we really need to focus on keeping the association funding coming in through the two big draws of the casino and raffle proceeds. Completing these two endevors successfully are the key to our association's financial success.

2010-11 Casino

Along with this years Raffle committment each player is responsible for a volunteer committment. The date for this years casino is November 29 and 30.

Division Coordinators

We have introduced division coordinators this year for each age division. These folks will be the face with the answers for your division and will be your conduit for information. All questions and concerns can be directed to them and they will be able to get you pointed in the right direction. Keep in mind most concerns should be worked out amongst the parents or the teams themselves.

Helmet Rule

Following suit with the rest of Alberta in both Ringette and Hockey it is mandatory for anyone who is active on the ice to wear a CSA approved helmet.

Any coaches without a helmet must stay on the bench.

Referees

Have a look at our on-line referee sign up sheet. We are also offering a premium for the early morning games.
